A Warped Trip to Stratton's, 2016

Photographed with an Olympus XA in Paradise, California in 2016.

My daughter and I would walk up to a small grocery store by our house every so often, and naturally, I'd bring my little camera along. It was raining that day. The figure in the back is my piano teacher, who's a recurring character in this project. None of those trees are there anymore — after the Camp Fire, I believe the entire lot was cleared, and it's now a dirt parking lot for PG&E.
