Fire on Fire, 2018

Taken with a Nikon F in Paradise, California, in 2018.

I woke up on November 8th to find my entire town on fire. I immediately grabbed my film negatives and my Nikon F and barely made it out of the inferno. This photo was taken just down the road from where I lived. I managed to shoot only three rolls that day, and unfortunately, only about ten photos came out (for reasons unknown, though I suspect radiation damage). This is one of my personal favorites.
