The Glass Between Us, 2014

I had been photographing lots of bugs and flowers up until this point. I realized that the only way to make my project meaningful was to show people because people are what truly is able to capture emotion. In this photo there is a figure sleeping in front of a piano store, probably poor. The piano is probably worth a good chunk of what a house costs. It's just interesting the fact we can be so close to something so valuable yet so far away. The working title for this print was "The Invisible Pain/Pane".
